Thinking about buying a "moderate" roll bar used, I need to know if anyone knows the inches at the tallest point of the roll bar for it to still fit under a hard top?? For bonus points what's the measurement between the two back connecting points sheet metal behind the fender well (not frame) as well as the measurements between the front connecting points between outside of the back of the driver seat and outside of the back of the passenger seat?

I don't need a cage as this puppy won't be doing that much hard core gusto kinda' stuff.
Thanks.

well, now I'm hacked off at myself. I went through a bunch of the threads and while I found some interesting stuff, I did NOT find any info about the tallest inches a roll bar could go without banging the hood. My measurement from the bottom of the floor to very close to the top was about 43 1/4. The guy gave me a measurement from the "ground" to the top of his roll bar of 43 1/2 --- see why I'm just a little jag nervous? It's probably fine and I have negotiated in a set of 2.5 coils and leafs for $300.00.

This sound fair?

I’m also curious what the max height can be on a cage for a full hard top to still work. I measured from my floor to the top of my wiper motor and it was around 47&1/2 I think (it was dark and late). I then measured the top of my cage and it measured around 48 in…. I’m thinking my top will work. Comments?
