I'M AN old parts man from 1967 until 1995..farm&single..2k till 2009+ at chrysler.. But about 2000 I rolled my own to my half cab It has really lasted good... I used Gator Guard It is 2 parts brushed some and rolled some.. I was selling it at the time...I put on about 2 gallons.. I did MY 1/2 CAB .. inside the bed ...Bluk head... Rocker panels ...2 hood raised panels...Then I used the Krylon on my Grill ..front bumper and rear bumper...mirror and my Spoke Wheels...
.......
..Mine is not as bright as it was when new but it still looks good but the spray on in my dodge pickup has faded gray.

I used the duplicolor stuff a couple of weeks ago. I guess time will tell about its durability, but it came out looking nice and it has good sound deadening.

I used the Duplicolor (roll on and spray cans). I applied it about a year ago. The roll on is holding up great. The areas that you spray don't get as thick as the roll on so just use the spray for hard to reach spots. I found a $10 difference in price between Autozone and Checker...so shop around. Also follow the prep as that dictates 95% of the sucess.

I used Herculiner and its okay, no real regrets and got it done for bout $100.

Ive hear that the RAPTOR stuff is better and is about the same price but must be sprayed on so if you've got a compressor you might want to look into this too.

i am going to be trying the monstaliner by magnet paints. kit was pretty affordable and the company was around the block from my job. i checked out samples and it seems pretty good and very thick.
