A rebuilt one should be about the easiest thing in the world to find. Any local auto parts store or one of the many online stores should have one. A NEW one would be like hens teeth. My Ford book shows a 55 amp for a 73 is number D2AZ-10346-D. The only place that I could come up with one is a NOS house called Classic Cars. Their number is 800-543-8691, call them and ask how much for the number I gave you. Good luck and have fun!
