Scored at Junkyard, now Hydroboost Questions

I went to what I like to refer to as a "real junkyard" yesterday that is out in the sticks. Some of you may remember or even know of some of these type of junkyards. The closest thing the guy has to a computer is an AM/FM radio and when you ask about cars he points you in a direction and says "over that way".

Anyways.....
I got a Hydroboost, master cylinder, and proportioning valve from an 85 ch*vy dually and then I got a Saginaw pump with dual returns from Lincoln Mark IV (the hydro unit on this was missing). So, Hydro experts......can I use the master cylinder and prop. valve I got or do I need another one from a different vehicle? My EB has the ch*vy disk conversion on the front and drums on the rear.

The best part.........I got the above mentioned things and a steering gear box from a 79 Bronco all for $45.00. ;D

Thanks for the help!

Indian Harbour Bch,
I'll go out on a limb and say that yeah it will prolly work, but may be funny as the dually was prolly a 1-ton, and the brakes were bigger, so you may need to change MCs. Also, the fittings on the h-boost from the chubby will prolly be metric o-ring of 16mm x 1.5 and 18mm x 1.5.
The saggy pump may not be metric, so check that.

The only way to find out is to slap it together. I second that about the hose fittings going from standard to metric but that's always workable. If the parts you got is metric than the only connection to worry about is to the Ford PS box which is standard flared. Just cut the tube end from the Ford hose and take out the fitting and do the same with the hose coming from the hyroboost (I hope you got the hoses too) and swap fittings, now using a correct tool for this task do a double flare on the end. Now this will bolt to the Ford PS box.

Check out how mine went together with the Stock Astro hoses, It just barely reached. No splices.
And look at the length of these hoses with the hydroboost unit I scored from a Ch*vy fullsize van. Unit on the left.

After you got everything bolted together and tested and find out that the rears is locking up earlier than the fronts, before you go and buy a adjustable proportioner valve upgrade the front to the T-birb calipers which has a bigger piston.
I'm not sure if this will bolt into a ch*vy conversion so you may want to look into that.

Did that '79 have an intact front axle with all of the disk brake parts on it? From the steering knuckles out?
