.. Ya I did .. I sold a Bronco Tub and the Guy didn't want to give our price.. But he was interested in trading some labor. He knows I'm getting long in the tooth. So he said what can He fix on my Bronco for me ..
.. So about 2 years ago I'd bought a Positive trac front with clutches in it. From a member on here . So I'm about to use it. It too was on 3:55's. I've been to lazy to install it in my Bronco. Mostly because there has been no place my Bronco would not go.
.. But he jumped on the job. So I get the P/Trac installed all the seals inside the Dana 44 and my bearings packed .. For $150.00 in trade. Yes I could have done it but I don't have to now.
... I like to pack my bearings about every 2 years if I'm using it.
... I think I was as happy as he was on this trade..Did I mention That I really hate to pack wheel bearing. So now when I do them I get the Grand Kids over and I teach them how too.. AKA Hands ON. Uh I stand back with a beer in hand giving instructions.
... A couple of my grand Sons may be able to carry on. One of them bought an old truck and packed his wheel bearing already. Only problem is todays trucks won't have wheel bearing you pack.
..............
OH I guess I should say he drove over & picked up my Bronco took it back to his shop. And says he plans to be done this weekend.
He'll bring it back and pick up the tub.

...TwoDales: If you'd offer to take him 4wheeling in some special setting He'd want to come. But that is a long ways from Texas. He an sonNlaw are going to Arkansas Hot springs in sept.
... Mikey you make me feel better about setting on all these parts I have. and I'm too lazy to put them on. At least I've added several small electrical items the summer.

OK IT's back home ... I can't believe he did all this in basically 2 days ..
So he unloaded it and collected his bounty. An off ride another Bronco saved.. Well he plans to use the tub.
....1st picture is the old Bronco going to help rebuild one more..
2nd pic is a good shot of a good back half of the tub..
3rd is the body man Jimmy kicking the wheel straight to help load it.
4th Is the purpose of these pictures .He used a piece of 1/2 plexiglass or the Cajan called it Teflon sheet .. Whatever it was .. They set the spindle down on it. And that thing slide up into that trailer faster than if he'd had a gallon of ''ASTROGLIDE'' on it.

That's a pretty cool trick for loading that rig. I bet it feels good getting the rig back that soon.

Yes I was stoked about it only being gone a few days.
He was wanting the carrier he took out of my rig. It was the same thing he put in except mine was toast.. So I told sure I'd trade it to him for some more labor an a set of 5.... 89 FD TR wheels. I was wanting him to do some more labor on an intake repair on a 89 302.
He seems to think the wheels are enough. I thought they'd already said they'd take 50.00 for the wheels but wanted it in trade . So I'd said fine .. Now today they said they wanted 100.00 in trade for the wheels. Maybe we can still get together.
