Shorter Window Crank Handles

Hi,
I have the regular window crank handles in and the roll bar gets in the way of rolling the window up and down. I have to take off the small roller piece on the end in order for me to have the clearance to roll the window. Does anyone else have this problem and know of any other window crank handles that are shorter and will fit without hitting the roll bar? Electric windows will fix this problem, but I just don't have the moey to do that at this point.

Not sure if the splines are the same, but I had a 64 Ford Galaxie that had short crank handles for the window wings.

yeah some of the early 60s ford cars had them, they are not that hard to find. I may still have a pair if you want me to check.

I've sold a few of the shorter Galaxy handles on Ebay. They will fit perfect but the shorter arm makes it hard to get enough torque to raise and lower the window. It can be done just not as easy.

Yeah I could imagine. I used to get a kick out of opening and closing the wing windows with the cranks. That was the first car I ever saw that had those. I'm easily amused. ;D

An electric conversion would be my choice.
