smittybilt winch??

Has anyone ran the xrc10 series? I notice that they are having a pretty good sale and was wondering how they worked before shelling out the $$, the bronco will be 95% offroad mostly snow use, I also plan on using the winch on my car trailer for pulling dead vehicles on so I need something that will last.
