soft top riser bracket

does anyone know which soft top riser bracket sits higher above the windshield frame? the bestop or the stc (or rampage..i think theyre the same). or do they both sit at the same level. trying to figure it out for clearance issues.

And while we're at it, preferences between the two tops. there's a $100 difference between the two. anyone have the new(er) black diamond material on their rampage? im curious what you think of it? thanks

bestop riser is taller than the STC/rampage riser. for that matter the bestop's bows are higher than rampage also.

Also, the Bestop doesn't require a wiper motor drop bracket. It's a couple inches higher at least.

My vote is with bestop. I have had bestops on my samurai, and jeeps. They are very well made. When i get one for my bronco this spring it will be a bestop.

Bestop actually is the manufacture for the factory JEEP soft tops!

I like my bestop. I drove it a lot three years ago but Ididn't hae my doors weatherstripped or even hve much of a seal on the windows.

We got all the weather stripping and seals in last weekend. On th ehighway at 70 the air in the cab is nice and still and we could carry on a conversation and actually hear the radio. Something I could never do in my CJ5.

The bestop is higher. The STC and Rampage are the same. The bestop is taller over all and is slower to go up and down than the Rampage. The Rampage new material is supposed to be stronger than the old stuff. Rampage also has good customer service if you need it!
