Going to 4.30 in the rear (Motive brand) but cant find Thick Cut gears for the front D44. Would prefer not to change the carrier.

Does anyone make a good set of thick cut in 4.27 or 4.30?

Not 100% sure. I did a thick gear on mine. The application is 03'-06 Heep Rubicon. I did 4.56. If you can find 4.27 for a Heep, I know that's a direct fit. Try calling Randy's R&P, maybe they can give you info on the Rodeo rear R&P.

Called Randy's and doesnt sound promising for the 4.30.

I may just go 4.11 and sacrifice a little fun around town. As I understand it, I can just drop in a set of thick cut 4.11s for the front and keep my carrier, right?

Yep. I used thick 4.30 gears out of Heep Rubicon rear. Direct fit on my front carrier.

Thanks cbolt, but where did you find your gears in 4.30? I searched Diff Wizard and googled and could only find 4.10, 4.88 and up.
