Spare tire carrier design

Has anyone built a spare tire carrier that mounts to the body like this?

I know the stock one mounted to the body but with a 35" tire hanging off I wonder if I will need to brace the body to prevent the tail light housing area from bending out?

If anyone has built one similar I would love to see some pictures!

Thanks,

Evan

The body will distort badly. Only way to make it live would be to run tubing into a roll cage/stout bumper. The sheet metal is not strong enough.

That is what I thought. I was planning at some point on running some tube from my roll cage to the body to help get rid of the gap between the body and the tailgate. Seems like that will solve both problems.
