Does anyone have another easier way to remove the might as well be welded on spinle off the shaft other than cutting it and splitting it to get it off?
Thanks

Sometimes a propane torch used to heat the spindle and provide enough thermal expansion to pop the corrosion adhesion. And a BFH (dead blow) or block of wood in between.

The problem is that the wheel bearing ate into the spindle so bad that left about 1/4 X 2" gouge  through the spindle. Dang it and I just had gotten l the rear end redone, thank you mr po:mad: .

I've got some extra drum brake spindles if you need one.

do you have a slide hammer, and a welder?

If I had given up on saving the spindle, and it was stuck...I'd make an adapter for the slide hammer with one of the bearing nuts.
but if you don't have either of those...see the above suggestions.

Use a Dead blow mallet and start whacking it in every different direction. Once you get it out, sand off the rust on the inside of the knuckles when you put it back together. Make sure to coat it with some kind of lubricant when you put it back together.

Thanks guys, didn't even know they made such a tool and thats even were I ordered my parts%) oh well wacking and cutting maybe my option. I do have a welder but it's at my brothers house. FWIW I can get all the parts cheaper at complete than the parts houses probably better quality also.
Thanks again everyone.

I use a power steering pulley puller in a similar fashion as the tool that MarkTroy posted. Thread one of the nuts back onto the spindle and secure the jaws of the PS pulley puller on it. The bolt of the puller will push against the axle stub shaft and pull on the nut. Spindle will come right out of the knuckle.

I have one I don't know if it will be long enough but it's worth a try. I am trying not to destroy the stub shaft. But I might end up having to use my cut off wheel. I'll check.
Thanks everyone
