stainless steel hinge question

on a windshield hinge, could I leave it unpainted, or would it end up looking nasty? Would I be better off getting regular steel and painting it?

It might look ok if you have chrome trim and door hingers on the bronco. I would paint the stainless one. No rust.

Well you could do i like i have....a stainless hinge that is alternating painted and unpainted.....paint shop had it folded the wrong way when they sprayed....:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

I would paint it just for looks

Here are two stainless hinges installed at the same time from the same company, same part number, different box. (about 5 years of weather) I've seen the same thing on marine components. I'd paint.
