just a thought, if its to short , have it lengthend for a trail spare...you might need it someday or be able to help someone else...

The problem with using it myself is that I can't get enough angle out of the CV to rotate even at ride height.

I guess maybe I could grind the cv and lengthen it to get a partially functional trail spare. If nobody else wants it maybe I'll try that.
