Where can a man find stock size mud/snow tires with a white wall??? Got a friend that wants to go as original as possible on a resto. Coker does not have them. TIA

You have been around a while, Ben, so you will know what I'm talking about. He may have to go with the 'porta-walls' on a set! They are kinda wide though..

I just googled them and they are available in assorted widths and COLORS!!!

Yes sir!!! We found a guy in SC that said he'll make what ever we want but they're like $300+ each!!!

Another thought we had was to take a street tire with the white wall and have them re-capped with a mud/snow tread, if they still do that???

You must be referring to this place: http://www.dbtires.com/

That price actually sounds pretty reasonable, if you know what specialty tires cost and considering you'd be getting essentially a custom set.

Reproductions of bias-ply whitewall tires are usually well over $200, and some of the specialty classic tires from Coker or this place easily top 300.
