• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Here's an excellent mostly original 1977 Bronco Ranger that I've had the pleasure to own since 1987. As difficult as it is to part with, it's time to find her a new home. This is my first listing to sell, so I decided to target the loyal early Bronco fan base that will appreciate what this one has to offer.

It's the Ranger Package, uncut without any lift or performance additions. Original Jade Glow Green lower paint that's starting to fade but the white on top is in good shape. Body has very minor rust in the usual places, driver's side rocker panel, rear fender seams and around the marker lights. It's only lived in TX and CO. The arid climate has preserved it well. A couple of minor dings that were added by the original owner, but otherwise sound and tight. No leaks, never wrecked and garaged for all but 4 years.

Stock 302, C-4 automatic, 4,900 GVW package, Ford 2900 Traction-Lok rear axle, power steering and brakes, AC (needs charged), Cruise-O-Matic and AUX fuel tank (seal leaks). Only 75,000 original miles. BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A tires that are like new. Original wheel covers with no dents.

Interior is the original hounds tooth green in excellent condition. Clean carpet in a non smoking vehicle with front seats covered. Dash board has a small crack and the rear bench seat and all seat belts intact.

Original owner installed the after market equipment including custom front bumper with an 8,000 lb. Warn winch with cover, lock, snatch block and control cable. Fog lamps, overhead spot light, rear wheel mud flaps, locking gas caps and locking, removable ski racks.

I'm the second owner. It's been driven weekly, maintained regularly. It could use a little TLC on the details, but it's road worthy and dependable.

E-mail us at 5meadowlarks@optimum.net with a phone number for further information. Include your e-mail address and we'll send photos. We're usually home in the evening.

Well I spoke to Front Ranger tonight and we worked out a deal, so it looks like I'll be the proud new (third) owner of a sweet '77 Ranger. :)

Thanks Front Ranger; look forward to talking more with you tomorrow to square away the details.

Congratulations 77 Wheel Horse!

I'll officially close this thread and wish the new owner all the best with this little gem.

I'll close the thread shortly with the customary SOLD sign.

Thanks to all for the tremendous response!
