Does anyone have any insight to the 'beige' vinyl floor mat at Bronco Graveyard? I saw the newer parchment mat at WH at the roundup, and like how its molded to fit, but I'd really want a tan or light brown version, and the only tan option I saw was over at JBG... but the stock pictures make it look like it doesnt lay as neatly (or its molded loosely?) as the black and parchment 'sport bronco' ones from Dennis... are the ones from JBG saggy/baggy, or do they fit better than the pictures show?

Well, I think that's what I'm hoping to install. In the midst of finishing 3 or 4 dozen punch list sorta items, and one of them is the tan vinyl floor mat from JBG. Bought it way back when the earth was still cooling, and trying to make sense of it now. Not havin' much luck. Nothing installed yrt with glue or double-stick, 20240625_164619.jpg and I've heard you don't use glue or double-stick. 20240625_164627.jpg There are times I really wish that I knew something. Btw, the aluminum angle in the pics was added because the standard securing strips didn't cover the hazmat and the insulmat. or whatever they are called.

Howard I sure hope, over time, your mat lays flatter or at least more form fitting to the floor contours than its showing right now in your pictures... that is what made me hesitate in ordering the exact same thing.

I'm getting to a point in my restoration path that I need flooring... I want a tan rubber/vinyl/plastic-y front half, and tan carpet rear. The tan carpet rear seems easy to source... so far, from my research, what you have seems to be the sole tan front mat availible -- unless I shell out big bucks for the parchment front mat and live with parchment and not tan, or try to paint/dye it tan.

The hardtop restoration is done, the three seats go in to a custom upholstery shop in August to be reborn again as '72 explorer sport in the original ginger random stripe seats again, and I'm needing flooring next...

If mine isn't salvageable when I get to that point, I'll use SEM vinyl paint (as suggested by PaPitt) and paint black flooring ginger. It looks like I'll have to have the paint for all my armrests and my dash, so if I have to have it custom mixed, I'll just buy enough to do the flooring too, so if it isn't "exact" color-wise, at least it will all match.

The JBG mats are ACC brand. The carpet kits are nice, the vinyl floor kits are junk! Have installed 3 in 3 different Ford vehicles. EB version was acceptable for my trail rig bronco, the kits I tried installing in a 84 bronco and 82 ford truck didn't come close to fitting correctly even after placing in the sun and using a heat gun.
