A while back I posted the question of replacement dash pad vs. pad cover. I got very good responses about the pad cover and was about to pull the trigger on it but changed my mind last minute and did the replacement pad from Tom's Bronco Parts (part #0960).
I am really happy with the purchase of the replacement pad. It is identical to the original off my '74 and installed with ease. Fit and finish is excellent. It looks awesome! ---and has a very nice feel to it.
So I'm still not sure how the dash pad cover would have worked out. All I can say is that you will not be disappointed if you spend the extra money on a new dash pad from TBP...
