I found a Super Winch Tiger Shark at one of those liquidator places while goofing off at lunch today... is $199.00 a good price? Is this a decent winch?

Not sure I even need one since my Bronco hasn't been outside to play in a long time but I noticed it and thought it looked like a deal.

They are good winches. Do you know what model or pound rating it is? That will determine how good of a deal it is!

If they are the good ones like bronco design said, buy a few of them and resell them. Wish I could find a deal like that around me.

Normally $350 at Summit. Id say $200 is a pretty good deal. Have an older Superwinch 9000 model (before they called them Tigershark) that I have used the heck out of. Not one complaint so far.

I went and bought it. Box was beat up but winch is still in styrofoam and plastic. Looks good. Now to see if it will fit my bumper. I bought a Warn a while back that would not. This looks promising.

It even came with synthetic rope and a hawse fairlead.

Looks like you have a decent amount of space on that bumper, what was the issue with the Warn.

gotcha. I scored a warn XD9000i a few years ago. brand new in the box. I hope I get it mounted soon. I'm thinking about possibly trying to get another winch for the rear of my rig....... that is after i get it back on the road. %)

That was an awesome deal, just a good synthetic rope cost more than $200.

If you keep an eye on the discount coupons at HF, the Badlands 12,000 winch often becomes an incredible deal. I actually picked up mine for under $200 and also got a 3yr warranty. I have loaded several EB on my trailer with it. One had all 4 brakes locked up, and this winch drug it up on the trailer with no problem....
