Not sure but I know they are doing some additional testing. Definitely have a long travel option that will max out what your driveshaft angles will allow.Any word on if they are still releasing this this year? And maybe an option for a longer travel coilover?
Copy, I’m excited to see what they release, I want to 4 link mine but have never done any suspension work like that so a kit like that would make it more simple for me lol. And Toms isn’t to far of a drive to pickup parts so that is a plus too.Not sure but I know they are doing some additional testing. Any updates? Or ping me maybe a couple tact to call for even a beta kit?Last I heard on release date was January so this month

Maybe they need a east coast tester?I just know that they've been testing the heck out of it. Not sure when they will release
Still nothing on their website.Any update?
Hey @savageThought I'd ad a couple pics. The coilovers definitely seem more sensitive to weight than leaf springs. When i have top on and someone in back I sit level. Top off and nobody in back I sit a bit high in the rear. (see pic below). I'm sure not everyone is going to run the c.o. into their body like I have but if you do, I came up with what I think is a clever way to cover / enclose them. I used ammo cans. Cut a hole in end for reservoir to fit through and cut the bottom out to fit the ridges in the bed. Will use a split grommet to seal reservoir hose hole. Ammo lid allows access to the upper mount so the co can be removed. For now, I'm just going to screw the can to the bed and use silicon to seal. May ultimately weld. The way mine is set up I can still use the stock rear seat, just pushed forward 4.25 inches. I ended up welding some angle iron along the bottom of the seat feet and extended it back so I can use stock mounting holes (didn't take pic of that). If I raised the seat a bit (like maybe 3/4"), I could push it back to stock location but I wanted to keep the headroom and I like the add'l space behind the seat for cooler etc. Still room for even tall guys to 'fit' in back but not sure I'd wanna ride there across the country. If you build a co mount cover that angles back with the upper co mount, I think the stock seat fill still bolt in stock location. (last pic is a 'pet' buck living around my place)
hello, I joined this page just for this thread! Super interested and looking for some info on if Tom’s is still looking to release these? I recently talked to someone from Viva chassis as well that is working on a chassis package with the toms 4 link hoping to get them rolling soon. Any news on this kit’s availability?Thought I'd ad a couple pics. The coilovers definitely seem more sensitive to weight than leaf springs. When i have top on and someone in back I sit level. Sorry, I am not sure. I sure use the heck out of mine.Any update on the rear 4 link?
Any update on the rear 4 link?
Heck Yeah. Check out: https://tomsoffroad.com/products/front-rear-coilover-conversion-kit I use the heck out of mine and love it. I ran it with ford 9" for a while. When I decided to go 1 tons - I used all the same brackets except for truss, which I modified a barnes truss for the 14 bolt...andI was able to attach toms axle-side upper mounts to the top of the 14 bolt truss as well. I think the joints they now offer in their kit are better than the ones I use. The ones I use require constant adjustment / retightening. Which is pretty annoying. My recommendation - if you use the kit with 3.5" lift or less suspension lift then you should have really nice geometry with very little roll steer. With my 39s I wanted a tad more lift - around 4.5" so I dropped the frame brackets down a tad - to keep the arms a little flatter and thereby have slightly better road manners. Even though you don't really need a sway bar and I don't run one (yet) - I do recommend getting one especially if you run softer springs. System is outstanding in the rocks. Allows suspension to track pretty much straight up and down. Upper link mounts have multiple mounting locations for more or less anti-squat. No more axle wrap and rear ujoint issues. I think since my prototype- they changed / improved the mounting locations slightly and gave the system a bit more triangulation. I recommend giving Matt or Jake at Toms a call.Any update on the rear 4 link?
