I just ordered the power steering kit from Toms for my 67 w/ a 351C. I was told to order the one for the 289/302 and that I would just need to do "a little tweaking".

Anyone have any idea what "tweaking" I may have to do?

What does the kit come with? The brackets are specific to the 351c and the 302 will not line up or work.
In the past I used a 351m/400 bracket that used a Saginaw pump on my 351c. It worked but one of the holes was not lined up. Since then I switched to a March performance aluminum bracket set that works great, along with the alt. bracket.

Those brackets are for a Windsor engine - 289, 302, 351W. I am not sure how they differ from the 351C, but would doubt that they will bolt up with any "minor" tweaks. The 351C is a completely different block than the 351W.

Exactly, that's why Im trying to see if anyone else has put a power steering system on a 351C, and either, what bracket I would need to make that kit work, or what I need to modify.

That is only the bracket that attatches to the pump, and probably the stock ford pump only. You will also need the other half of the bracket set.
What pump do you have?
The 351C only came stock with the ford pump, not a saginaw.

So to run a saginaw on the 351C you can use a bracket set from a 351M/400 out of a large ford car, like a LTD or some other land yacht. Or the March bracket set. Ive used both and the March is by far the better, it costs more but fits better and looks great.

I'm using stock ford 351c brackets, and just today discovered that the stock pump is in no way going to fit with that bracket. steering gear box is too close! so, I'm shopping for a saginaw. anybody have a good one layin around?
