Ok, had a 66 bronco about 10-11 years back and I'm realizing how much I miss it. Just sold our tj so I'm thinking now is a good time to think about picking up another one.
Right now the available cash is going into restoring my 68 firebird but I have a 95 z28 I'd be willing to trade. Or, if you have a bronco needing some love I'm open. Not looking for a cream puff cause I know I'll wheel it. Looking for something I can tinker with and drive as I go preferably but if there's cash added into the deal I'm willing to take a project home.
Obviously the closer the better but I'm not against traveling to make a deal so don't let distance scare you. I'll travel.
Greatly prefer a v8, manual a plus, 4 or 5 speed a double plus. After that I'm pretty open. Let me know what you have and are looking to do and we'll talk.
Anyhow, here's the car:
Lt1 350 with ported heads and intake. Lt4 hot cam, 1.6 roller rockers. Pacesetter mid length headers and magnaflow cat back. Msd optispark, Taylor ignition wires, recent spark plugs. Cold air intake. PCM4less tuned ecu. Car put 319 horsepower to the rear wheels on a mustang dyno. Was told motor had about 10k on a rebuild when I bought the car and we've put another 20k or so on it.
Transmission/rear end:
T56 six speed with pro5.0 shifter. Was told it was rebuilt about 50k before we bought it. Shifts flawlessly and has never had any issues popping out of gear.
Rear end is a 10 bolt posi rear with 3.42 gears.
Interior:
Complete 30th anniversary Camaro interior swap out of a 97 Camaro. Interior is grey cloth with red inserts in the seats. Entire dashboard was also swapped at the same time for the 97 up style dash. Interior is in very good shape. Complete aftermarket stereo with Bluetooth enabled head unit, aftermarket door and rear speakers, as well as 2 10" subwoofers on the rear deck. In no way does any of it interfere with the t top storage area so no worries there.
Exterior:
Just painted last fall. Body is super clean, no rust underneath as well. Car is black with real fire flames airbrushed on the entire nose and onto the doors.
Wheels are black c6 zr1 replica wheels in 17" front and 18" rear with 275/40's all around.
Here's a few pics:
Interior shot was before it was painted. Jambs were redone black when the exterior was painted:
So there it is. Trade straight up for something of roughly equal value or trade down plus cash on your end if your truck isn't quite so nice. Got it listed for sale locally for $6,800 so be realistic please. I'll take a hit, but not a huge one. It won't kill me to keep the car.
So, any interest in a trade? Or even an outright sale? Let's talk
Or, if anyone in mass knows where my old bronco went I'd be very grateful. It was a 66 with a 302/4 speed. Stock suspension cut body on 32's. Truck was bright yellow on top and orange 2 tone split by a silver stripe coming out of the front wheel arch. Would really really love to find that one and get it back. Out of all the cars/trucks I've let go over the years I really miss that one.
