tunnel cover ideas

the drivers side of the tunnel cover was cut some time ago in order to accomodate a 4speed shifter. it looks like a cover, like james duff, was bolted on before, i am curious about others experiences with the various options here

I simply used a piece of diamond cut aluminum and bent my own cover. Not beautiful, by any stretch, but it worked. My leg was getting burned from the heat.
