I see your pair and raise you 3 of a kind:

Well, almost.

Long story short:

My daughter and I both ordered Carbonized Gray 2021 Broncos on Day One. My order was a Base, 2 door, V6, Sasquatch, hers was an Outer Banks 4 door, soft top. My order got held up because of the MIC top issues, hers arrived eventually. I got tired of waiting (and waiting, and waiting) for mine to be built, so I shopped around, and found a Carbonized Gray Badlands, Sasquatch, V6, 2 door, - basically the same thing that I ordered, but nicer - on a lot at a dealership not far from my house. So, I bought it.

Just over a week later, I get the email from Ford that they're finally going to build my Bronco. Since I was an original order holder, I had price protection, which meant I could buy it for MSRP... so I did. Which explains why there are 2 identical looking 2 door Broncos in the photo, and my daughter's 4 door.

Not having much use for 2 nearly identical Broncos, I ended up selling my original order that I waited so long for, because the Badlands was so much nicer (leather, large screen, etc). Still have the Badlands, drive it every day, almost 60K miles on it so far.

Greaat story. How would you compare the driving experience difference between the 2 and 4 door. I want to get a two door since it's most like the EB, but torn because four doors would be nice. So if you could share and down sides of the two door in terms of how it drives/rides, I'd love to hear what you thiink.

Well, it's a 2 door Sasquatch, so it's loud. Short wheelbase, so it pitches quite a bit - lots of nose dive under heavy braking. I rotate the tires every 5000 miles when I change the oil, so they wear pretty evenly - but they're still loud at highway speeds. I can confirm that they get a little squirmy at the 102 mph limited top speed. At nearly 60k miles, tires still have plenty of tread left, and brake pads too. I'm betting the shocks are about worn out, so installing new ones will probably calm the ride down a bit.

At 80 mph, it's like driving a barn door into a head wind - usually running 2-3 psi of boost at that speed, and I've seen as high as 9 psi accelerating hard uphill. I can literally watch the gas gauge drop. I do love the fact that it will go anywhere - traffic backed up on the highway? No problem, go through the ditch onto the frontage road, don't even have to think twice. Turning radius is amazingly small - you'd think that with 35" tall, 13" wide tires it wouldn't have much steering angle, but it turns on a dime.

Things I wish Ford had done when they built it:

Rear seats that fold flat (they don't)
Tailgate that opens either way - to the side, or down.
More interior storage space - lots of wasted space under the front seats, inside the console, etc.
Larger fuel tank - at only 16 gallons, I put gas in it every time I drive it.
Stronger windshield - lots of stone chips and major cracks already
