Anyone ever painted what I guess you would call the skirts or the uncut portion of the rear quarters a different color than the rest of the lower body?

I was thinking of painting that rear portion that normally gets cut ( just the humped up part) and follow around the lower part of the tailgate. I would paint it the same color as the top.

Anyone seen something like this?

What do ya think?

Closest I think I've seen is the typical Ranger-type stripes continuing along the full bottom of the body panels, but looking at those types of photos you can at least kind of imagine what it might look like. Could be cool, I think, like if the skirts were black on a whatever color Bronco...

Yea I forgot all about that. I was also thinking of painting from the upper body line up the same color as the top

So middle of it will be blue upper body line and top silver and lower skirts silver.

Here's a two-tone I love that's a little like what you're describing (I think).

Yea that's a lot like it but with the top the same color as the upper paint color.

And I was thinking of painting the skirts and lower part of the tailgait the same color as the upper color.
