welcome aboard. We all want to cut the rears and install flares. Then when we do we want a uncut rig! So decide whats the long term goal of your truck. Me i hate the ugly bolt on rubber flares. If i cut a steel body id graft on steel flares cut from some front fenders. That way it look like it came from the factory. But thats also why i bought a glass tub...because its cut and the flares are molded in.

I have a 74 bronco with uncut rear panels. I am thinking of cutting them, or replacing them. Any suggestions?

First of all welcome to the best site on the net! You won't meet a better group of people that are willing to help when you are stuck or need Bronco advice. Of course there are a few other forums on here also if you want to get crazy or political. %)

Anyways...it's your truck so you can do whatever you choose to do. Once cut you can always go back at some expense. If you are looking to go with bigger tires in the future then you might want larger wheel well openings. If you are going to keep it for mostly street driving then maybe you won't need the large tires and/or the cutouts.

Take a good look at both options right here on this site. The Photo Gallery is on the upper left of the pages here in the Community box. Look at both types of Broncos and make a decision. Beware, after seeing all the Broncos you will probably want one of each. ;D

You said cut "or replace". If they are rusted just around the wheel wells then cutting is an option. If they are rusted up along the body line then they may need to be replaced. If you pay the $12 for contributor status, then you can post your own pics, and everyone here knows....we LOVE pics! Again....Welcome!
