Every year the AZ Game and Fish puts on an Outdoor Expo with all kinds of fun for adults and kids. The event is free and parking is free. I work with the OHV Coalition to put on a show for the crowds. We set up rocks, boulders, ramp and dirt hill to show the people responsible offroading. We have John Hunter in his Sheriff's buggy MC'n while we wheel. We give away prizes to the kids. Our show goes every 60 mins.

I was tasked with getting some Broncos to come out and represent. All my usual brethren ended up with other commitments and can not attend. I need 2-3 more Broncos. Anyone interested? It's going to be March 23-24th, 2013. Our group normally comes out Friday night and sets up camp (tent or trailer) and we have a bonfire and some beverages. Wake up Saturday morning and put on the show from 9-5. Then enjoying the bonfire again and do it all over again on Sunday. You do not have to camp and could just come out every morning.

If you are interested please PM me and we can chat about the details. I would recommend at least 35" tires and at least 1 locker. I am trying to get last years videos staged and will post so you get an idea of the fun.

Man! I wish I didn't have to cancel on you. I would much rather hang with you than go to a wedding. The wife gave me a "pass", but you know how those go. "Go ahead Honey, I will just go to the wedding by myself". I'd be paying for that one for a while.

Have fun, I hope some brothers can help you out.

I'll probably be there to help out. But it's still questionable as to whether the Bronco will make it. Still waiting to hear from the machine shop...

Here is a note that came from AZ Game and Fish:

Dear Outdoor Expo Exhibitors and Vendors,

On behalf of everyone at the Arizona Game and Fish Department, I want to express my sincerest thanks and deepest appreciation for your participation in the department’s Outdoor Expo, March 23-24, at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility in Phoenix. We have always believed that a large number and variety of exhibitors from the outdoor community, along with high-quality vendors, are key to the event’s success. Because of you, this year was no exception. All told, the Expo attracted 38,500 visitors (35,000 Sat & Sun) — including 3,500 schoolchildren, teachers and chaperones on Expo Youth Day, March 22.

This annual event is a terrific opportunity for the public to learn about wildlife, sportsmen’s and conservation groups, and all kinds of outdoor recreational activities, often through hands-on experiences that many of you made possible. We hope you had as great a time as we and our visitors did, and we look forward to seeing you at next year’s Outdoor Expo. So, please mark your calendars and save the dates of March 29-30, 2014.

Again, thank you.

Ty Gray
Assistant Director for Information and Education
Arizona Game and Fish Department
