just in case anyone was wondering...one gallon kit of the UPOL raptor liner will cover an entire Tom's plate style cage, your floor and anything else lying around with about 4 coats. great coverage. suggest not putting plastic on the ground. it sticks to your shoes.

That looks phenomenal! Any secrets to preparation? I'm probably going to do the inside of my Bronco and do the color matched in blue metallic. If you have any tips, it would be much appreciated. Or, if there is anything you would do differently.

pretty much just like any other paint job. make sure everything is clean clean clean. Also, this stuff covers like crazy so no shame when it comes to sanding prep. use the recommended prep grit even though it seems rough. I worked all the inside corners first with a coat then went and did the rest. like i said dont use plastic on the floor, you drag it all around the place. lay down plywood or tell your wife you have a new custom garage floor coating. shell love it....:p

I went ahead and bought all UPOL products for the cage but for the bed i had used some dupont epoxy primer and primer filler in there with no problems. sanded it up wiped it 2x with a prepsol or grease remover and sprayed away. I definitely would spray etching primer on any bare metal. Tons of videos online showing what to do and maybe more importantly what not to do. If i had it to d over again i would build and fit the cage before i painted and finished the body then spray and install. lesson learned.
