so someone borrowed my '71 and it broke down so now I need to bring parts to get it on the road

it appears the clutch pedal to rod assembly came apart. I thought there was a pin in there but the person at the bronco doesnt see a hole in the rod end that goes through the pedal (that little extension on the back of the clutch pedal arm)

does anyone know how the rod and the pedal attach?

i see diagrams with 2 bushings but that doesnt explain how the rod is held in place from popping out of the pedal arm

thx

mine has a hole. I used a tiny clip similar to a hitch pin clip. Some of my shift rod ends have holes and some have a indent all the way around. Either way the tiny hitch pin clips work with either style. Just thought id point that out. I got a few different sizes at home depot and keep spares in the glove box. That way I can fix either clutch rods or shift linkages, and can do it without any tools.
