What is the trick to taking the glass out of the vent window frame? I'm having a hard time getting the glass free from the frame so that I can repair the post.

most any solvent like paint thinner or mineral spirits will soften the tape seal holding glass in so you remove. If you have a parts washer try soaking it in that.

Heat.

Soak them in a sink with hot water if you do not have a heat gun available. You can slice them out with a razor knife. Heat is the trick.:cool::cool:

I tried the hot water yesterday and could not free the corner. Got it loose everywhere but the corner. I'll try the heat gun tonight.
