Its for blacking out taillights? Anyone ever used this before? Where did you get it?

I used it on an old j**p I used to have. worked pretty well. more coats the darker. I think I bought it from Summit or Jegs.

I have used it. with mixed results.... the nozzels on both cans sputtered and clogged alot. got real annoying. Even with proper degreasing I ran into fisheye problems.

unless you want the flat black look they have to be cleared.

there is another product by practica for models..same stuff i have never used it though.

check your local laws, most places this is a no-no.
also if you get rearended and have illegal tailights (they could not see your brakes) you may be at fault.

you will also loose you reverse lights unless you mask them off (looks gay as hell though)

as an alternative to

I have been using regualr clear with a few drops of black mixed in. Sooooo mucn nicer. and no topcoat necessary.

here are some corner lights I did on my truck with VHT. not perfect but not bad. Like I said the clear way is the method to use.
