Okay, I found a stash of my old school books from my college days back in the 80s ;) and thought I would share some of the boring text with you guys (and gals):

I have tons more that is EB-related and will hopefully get some more scanned each week to post as long as there is interest:D

Study hard and let us know if you know of these EBs or if the owners are CB members!

Great stuff Mac. The one article on the 1969-1970 Broncos says where the fold down windshield was discontinued as well as the removable top. Who wrote that article????:) LMC catalog says the same thing. Hmmmm! They better re-examine

Wow, I didn't know those cheesy little triangle air cleaners have been around so long.

80's was a '76, 302, 33" BFG A/T's, air shocks if front to keep rubbing at bay, rear cutouts and yes those "cheesy" air cleaners...

Petersen's did several of those EB specials in the early/mid '80s. Usually one every year. Man how I looked forward to those.

I thought those triangular air cleaners were cool too before I realized that they caught fire quite easily if your truck backfired through the carb. Dad made me take ours off after we heard that!

Updated With More Articles/photos

Here are a few more I scanned today:

The "Crazy Horse" (sorry NGABRONCO, there was a crazy horse you didn't own :) ) article is of Jim Courtney's '76 way back in '84. The funny thing about this truck is that it was the one that changed my whole life and really turned me on to EBs. I know I have told the story here before, but growing up in East TN we use to go to Gatlinburg all the time (Spring, Summer, Fall) and in 1976, when I was 11 years old, I saw this exact Bronco cruising the strip. It was solid black and lifted with "33s or "36s. I became entranced by it as it slowly cruised along. My father asked me as it cruised out of site if I liked that Bronco and I told him that when I got old enough to drive, that is exactly what I wanted!

The attached photo is of my first EB and Jim Courtney's in '84 just after his magazine shoot at his shop "Crazy Horse 4x4" in Morristown, TN. The other attached black EB is my third EB in 1991 which I painted solid black and ran "39s on (I bought a set of "44 Hawgs but decided they were too big for a daily driver). In some ways, it was my way of owning a piece of the truck that turned me on to EBs. Fond, fond memories............ thanks for letting me share them.

Ah Mac, Jim's EB or your's either one would draw a crowd today!!!! I'm sure they did back then, that coo. I can relate to the part in the article about how "things" didn't exist back then!!!
