• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Looking for an all black hopefully frame off restore with a rebuild or crate motor with auto trans(AOD or AODE would be nice), 2" to 3", No rust, power steering, power brakes, family roll cage, hard and soft top, air condition would be nice but that can be installed later, black interior with back seat, EFI, and audio system.

I have been looking around and saw a few like this on broncograveyard but no response back so maybe you guys have some black beauties you know of. I also contaced the guys at urban gears but it seems that not many people know to much about them so I am hesitant dropping 40k on one of their builds. I would be using it as a daily driver and probably would do to much off road since I live in FL. I will travel any distance for the right one.

Edit: After looking at broncos non stop for a few weeks I am starting to warm to the bright blues with white tops and the grayish blues

For the amount you are willing to pay, I think the guys who make the ICON bronco are in Oregon. They were selling a cheaper version for around $36k I think. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

BroncosbyBart has a well built 76 that is a paint job away from an ICON. He's up here in Charlotte NC. I've seen it, very nice with efi, disc brakes and auto if I'm right. He has it for sale in the For Sale section.

Hi,

I saw this one in the for sale section. I read it kind of quick... not sure if it's a manual or automatic. It does indicate it's black with 4 coats of clear.

Jamestown isn't too far away from me. I'd be happy to take a look at it if you're interested. (I haven't seen it, nor do I know the owner... no connection at all.) I'm not quite up to the standards of some of the other experts here; but, I'm willing to give you my opinion.

Good luck.

Jeff

I think you might be thinking of the urban gears guys that make an icon like bronco. Also where can I find the bronco of broncosbybart?

Sorry, but he sold his 76 for $23k. I just saw a thread that's about 5 days old saying he sold it. I should have checked before getting your hopes up. Ill keep looking around.

Looks really nice. I have actually seen this bronco on jeffsgraveyard. I sent him an email to send me some pictures of the interior, engine and rust problem areas. 44k is a little more than I really want to spend. It is exactly what I am looking for if the engine, brakes, steering and trans are in as good a condition as he says. Does 44k sound high to anyone?

Pricing for me is sure tough to judge. I think it depends on how you want to use it, and what the competition is like when you go to sell it. Some prices lately seem ridiculous, and others seem like a bargain.

If you'd like for me to take a look, and snap some pictures, let me know.

Cash talks! I tend to be cautious with members with very low posts. Especially when it involves selling something.

Any luck with Butch?

I talked to the guy you said was having one built for him by butch and he said he thought butch was a year or two behind. I have not actually talked to butch myself though.

Any chance you are still willing to go look at this bronco and maybe test drive it? I am mostly worried about rust and the engine. For 40k it should be pretty pristine.

There's a blue and white one for sale near Orlando, now on eBay motors. Not exactly what you are looking for but it is a driver. 2 others avail in jax but not in great shape

Anyone ever seen this bronco? I know its not efi or automatic but it is damn nice looking.

I would disagree on the "Nicest Bronce on the Market"... and I don't see any suspension or under body pics.. but did see some old shocks under the rear so I would question what if anything has been done to the differentials, gearing etc etc.. $9k in paint does nothing if your rebuilding both axles or trouble shooting vibrations or other problems..

I would ask the seller for more info on the under carriage and photos.. he sure is light on details on the $33k in rebuilding they did.. but he likes to boast how its treated..
