I recently sold my Bronco to a guy by the Name of Steve Cady I had a offer from him and another person the other person offer was three hundered higher but wanted me to wait another week for payment, Steve gave me a story of how he always wanted a Bronco and could I please just sell it to him and how he didn't have all the money and he wanted to use it as a daily driver and how he was going the fix the little things and hold onto it the story was alot longer you know small child not much money (so me being a nice guy or stupid guy to help him out sold it to him for the amount he stuggled to come up with figured help out a guy with something he always wanted ) told him that if he decided to sell it down the road call me he said maybe years down the road. Well here it is 40 days down the road it is on ebay see the green 73 w/lift has about 5 days to go in Socal well emailed him asked him whats up (no reply) Turns out he didnt always want a bronco he sold one the week after buying mine. So don't give this guy a deal because of his sob story he is just buying and turning broncos and not disclosing the problems I disclosed to him. I know I sound like a whiner but he flat out lied to me and he is doing so in his ad on ebay if you want to buy it ask me I will tell you the truth... ask whos name is on the pink

Edited for easier reading.

That looks like a nice rig. Other than the seller's name isn't on the title, what is he not disclosing?

Sorry to hear that you tried to help a fellow supposedly down on his luck. Live and learn, I suppose. . . unless he still owes you money.

Don't edit someone's post and call it a quote. ...even if it is hard to read.

I sold it to him for 6k. below what it should have gone for, now the leak on the rear diff it is there not water from a puddle like he stated I told him it leaked and the pumkin would have to come out to fix , the tranny told him that it could be the front seal or the dipstick tube but figure the worst that it probably was the seal. told him tranny had 20k or so on it and motor about 15k on it was out of a 68 mustang and no receipts got it from a buddys neighbor so who know for sure.It is a good rig but didnt mention the hardtop is in need of work dented and leaks ,grill pushed in an rear tank a small leak. You know I don't mind somebody selling it but don't lie to my face with your B.S stories . Maybe I will be high bidder and show up on his doorstep and tell him sorry you lied on your listing keep it also he said that it was relisted due to deadbeat bidder but no negative feedback or history on ebay

Checked some of his feedback, looks like he buys vehicles and flips them right away. It's too bad some people are just so full of it. Don't lose faith, you are not the first nice guy to get that story!

Well if you want to get back at him or something, then email his bidders. Tell them the story.

His auction hasn't reached $6k, so maybe he will get screwed. He didn't set a reserve price.

Can you tell from his feedback how many cars he's been selling? The state Attorney General's office would be interested if he's not a licensed dealer.

argh,

Well I emailed the people bidding on it, that if they had any questions to ask me and I will tell the truth. HE will probably bid on it himself if it doesn't go higher.

dvrack73, I strongly discourage you from emailing his other bidders on eBay. This is very clearly against their rules, can result in you losing your eBay account, and (in my opinion at least) it's bringing yourself down to the same level that you accuse him of.

On that same idea, please be careful about turning this into an attack on him. Just be sure you stick to the facts. I'm not saying you aren't, because I know nothing about this transaction. I'm just saying there's a fine line between warning other members and just bashing for bashing sake.

He's emailed me with a different side of the story. My suggestion was that he post here and tell his version. I'm not getting in the middle, but if you have a right to post, then so does he to respond.

I will let it go.....

Okay I will not further contact anyone bidding on the Bronco,I have a message on my machine from Steve saying I am ruining his life and wondered what he did to deserve it. I think the line of crap he gave me was it I could have sold it for 300 more to a rich kid but thought Steve was going to appreciate it more so I sold it to him, my fault for being honest my Loss his Gain.... So Steve hope you make big bucks off the Bronco.

As owner of the site I don't see why it's strange that I would comment on a thread about one of my members complaining about another. I don't know either person if that's what you mean. Both are new members to the forums and this is the first contact I've had with either one.

STrange because I had never seen you get involved like this usually the bashing threads just go away after a bit.
