The stuff I have is made by 3M.
I got it from a automotive paint supply house.

I haev used all of the above, but the u-pol. 3M is the best, but it was $10-12/can. The ACE hardware version is OK (price ws ~$6-7). The NAPA (Williams-Seynor--or something like) is OK as well and was also reasonably priced. If you are only going to be doing a few small important projects, go with the 3M. IF you are going to be doing alot of work, then go with one of the cheaper ones. I do remember the 3M going a long way, moreso than the others.

Good luck.

Never liked the 3m weld thru. Seems you have to burn through it before you can weld. Like purposely adding a contaminant to your weld. Best I've ever used is Standox red/brown 1k primer. It's an etching primer but the zinc content is high enough that it works great as a weld through.

X2 At work we use the same stuff but it's Spies 3055 (i think that's the #)
When you use weld thru you don't want a whole lot of it on there. Don't go for coverage, you only want one light coat. I've seen bodymen pile it on till they get runs coming out from around the panels being welded. The tech sheet for the Spies says a light coat is all that's needed.
