What is a complete PTO set up worth?

Thinking about pulling the PTO off my '68. Has everything, bumper, controls, drive etc. In very good condition.

Previous owner says it was dealer installed.

Any thoughts on value or is the Bronco more valuable if left on?

Thanks,

I gave $650 3 years ago for the same set up.
Is yours a 6cyl. or V8?
Pictures would help...Probably a Koenig winch.

V8 and yes Koenig. It would include the bumper as well.

Blue, that bumper looks really nice, good and straight with good rollers.
I think probably around the $750-$850. range.

Ya, its in very good shape but, to me, just does fit the look of the stock Bronco. Too beefy. I think some stock bumper would look better.

Thanks for the help all.

I have one on the 70 and I considered pulling it and mounting a stock bumper so I asked Tom aka the bronco ranch and he said a restored one could pull 1000-1500 bucks....

I had a Koenig on my last Bronco. I offered it on here about six years ago for like $400 with no takers. I put on Craigslist and sold it for $500. A guy drove about 400 miles to pick it up.

Vintage PTO's have become popular in recent years. I was offered a tidy sum of $1K for the vintage Ramsey on my '68 FJ40, I declined as FJ40's were designed to have a winch from the get go so it looks the norm to have one up front. Now it is just a show piece.
