Might even go a 2 1/2 lift. Need to fit the orginal 15 inch rim. Anything I need to change drivetrain wise for the best ride once the lift is on? Its a 77 Ranger, disc, auto trans. Thanks guys.

Im partial to Wild Horses lifts. 3.5" lift with 31x10.50 tires. Nice stance and no drivetrain change.

Tom's 2.5" lift with WH's 1" body lift and 31 x 10.5 tires.

I've read that some people run into drive line issues with a straight 3.5" suspension lift and others say it's not a problem. I didn't feel like falling into the problem category so I opted for the 2.5" lift and the 1" body lift route. The WH's 1" body lift is a nice upgrade as well. The extra 1" helps a lot when you're working under the Bronco.

33x10.50's with a 2.5" suspension and 1" body lift.

driveline depends on the bronco. i've done lifts on some and it was fine, others i've done lift and the driveshaft wouldn't even extend enough to reach the yokes. did a 2.5" lift not too log ago, the slip yoke maxed out and it was 1.5" away from the yoke.

Zillacon,

What dealership is your wife's from? I can see the badge on it, but can't make it out.

Zillacon, my bud said he saw two Broncos off of 136th and I-25 last Saturday around 10am. He said they were the cleanest Broncos he ever saw. His description matches your pics

That was my wife and I coming back from the monthly Bronco Breakfast. Both Broncos were originally bought in Colorado, the yellow one in Denver and the Red one from Pueblo.

Zillacon, those are both very nice Broncos! Did you buy them that way (original owner maybe?) or restore them yourself? Either way, they are both inspirational to me and my rust bucket!

The yellow one we buffed out as it was sitting for a long arsh time in a barn with only 40,000 original miles and original paint. The red one had one re-paint and sat for 10 years in a garage. I have not touched the bodies or paint yet other than a good buff and wax. Just the drive train to make them both road worthy.

Here's a couple of shots of mine too. :) 31 x 10.50's on stock rims. 3 1/2" leafs in the rear, with 4" coils in the front. Over Christmas I tried to get a little twisted action going to see if the tires would rub...no problems at all.

Well I just finished putting on a WH 2.5 suspension, the ride, handling, and look is awesome. I did have problems with the lift it's self- first there was the problem of not sending everything the first time. Then details left out of the instruction, got past that after the light bulb turned on. But over all I am impressed by the improvement it has made for the Bronco. The front springs are supporting a Protofab Rocksolid winch bumper and Mile Marker 9500 winch with no sag in the front. Now I need to put on the 1 inch body lift.

Let's see some pictures! That's a very similar setup to what I will be doing. I'm looking at the Hanson bumper w winch on my 70 that had a 3.5" lift.

Question: do you have the single or dual shock setup up front and are they the shocks that came w the lift?
