So I am currently in the process of doing this swap and it's time for the motor. The only places I am seeing is eBay with the best prices of about 6000-6500 for a 2015+ coyote motor and 1500 flat for the control pack. Even used motors people are asking 6000-6500 as well. Any help of direction would be much appreciated. Thank you.

1. Make friends with EVERY junkyard crew anywhere near you.

2. Watch Craigslist like a hawk, I saw one on there a few weeks ago and it was gone quick (don't remember what year it was)

Good luck on your quest.

I bought a new 2015 crate Coyote from Ford for $6089.50 delivered to my driveway plus the $1500 for the control pack and starter.

I currently have 96 Explorer and the 5.0 needs to be rebuilt, I am really wondering just how much more a Coyote swap would be by the time I rebuild a 5.0 and get more low end torque out of it. Plus the Coyotes just have a awesome exhaust sounds...
