Which seats does everyone have?

I need new seats in my 1970 but really don't want to spend 100s on something brand new. Which seats have proven workable in the EB and which don't work that well? I have access to a good pair of 1990 Honda CRX buckets that are in great condition.

Thanks!

Got mine from a Mitsuibishi Eclipse, Didn't see it mentioned on the thread you found.

Honda is mentioned on the list a couple of times but not from a 90's Civic. They work well - maybe an inch or so too tall, but not bad. I would think the CRX seats should work well. You may have to bend the floor mount tabs depending on the shape of the CRX floor pan.

All vehicle seats are designed around the same ergonomic model of a human, so it's really just a choice of what you can find & what you want to spend. Virtually any of them can be made to work, but avoid those with tall bases, like Expeditions.

Frank's are from an '86 EB Bronco.

PT Cruiser seats fit my 1/2 cab great. It has removable head rests so I didn't have to slide the seat too far forward to clear the back window.

Thanks everybody. I've found a few other posts and one from a guy that installed 90 Honda Civic seats in his Bronco. The problem that I see is that the rail for these CRX seats is mounted on the outside of the seat instead of under it. So it sticks out a bit. I do have the original Bronco seats and the mounts..I'm considering using those and attaching them to the CRX seats.
