who makes best twin stick kit for j type

Who makes the best kit for a j type dana 20 transfercase? Is it difficult to modify the shift rail? Thanks for the help

Take a look at Tom's Bronco Parts twin stick (<==Link). All stainless and no rattles. I've read that the J-shift install is pretty simple.

I like my Toms. Install was super easy until I realized that I had cleaance issues on my Duff's floor shifter, which required some tweaking/massaging of the tranny shift rails. Turned a easy afternoon into a hatchet-fest (couldnt find my hammer-so I used the backside of the hatchet--but hatchet-fest just sounds so good) on day two.

My vote would be for toms as well. Easy to do and looks as good as it works.

I have only had one so I can't say it is the best or worst. I can say that there are zero complaints from My Duff twin stick. The reason I bought Duffs was that it had the sticks, the boot, and the cover plate in one kit. It is chrome plated and If I had to guess who really makes it I would say that its by the same people who make Hurst shifters because the Duff name is stamped in the same way. When I added up the cost of the sticks, the boot (duffs has a metal support with the boot to mount it) and the cover plate everyones price was about the same. But not everyone offered a cover plate. I also have wood door panels and the knobs match.
