I'm baaaack. just for a few minutes though. I saw it listed on ebay and it didn't get much in the way of bids. I have heard all the stories but I read the discription on e-bay. It was his bronco and Loretta Lynn bought the chrome front bumper for his birthday. Here is a link to some good pictures. These are the same pictures that were in the e-bay ad.

I remember another Bronco for sale on Ebay a while back that had a pic of W. standing next to it. It was a blue Bronco, very nice one too.

Here we go!

Thanks for posting that. Never seen it before. I love Bronco history. I think they should have taught it in school.

Nice pics 2bad,

Nice pics of the old Twitty Bird. Come to think of it...I did see a pic of it in Nashville at a place called "Twitty City". It is a theater type place with Conway Memorabilia. It was a black and white pic. Didn't even realize it was a Bronco back then. Shame on me.

Welcome back 2BAD!!! I remember that bronco, can't remember if it sold or not. Somewhere I have pics of the one on ebay that Michael Landon and Dan Blocker used while they filmed Bonanza.

Saw a red eb at the beginning of Used Cars tonight with Kurt Russell. It was on hbo. I think there is one later on in the movie, but I can't remember.

2Bad, Thanks a B'zillion!
I recently lost my hard drive, and all of the memmorable files that went with it. Conway's hideous Bronco is just one of those visions that noone would ever believe without a .jpg to back it up. I'm very thankful for the chance to save this for posterity. Thanks again, and be sure I am now taking more secure measures to presurve this Kischty Americana.

seeing that one with W makes me want to go get a K5 :-[

I recommend you do. Broncos are good enough for the President of my country.

In the conway 8x10 he apears to be in a Brownish paint scheme. The other apears to be blue. Are there 2 of these beauties out their?

Good question. The on on eBay looks white and brown, the Bfix pictures are the dark green and seafoam like color. Wonder if someone repainted it?

celeb. broncos

Its not if you like GWB2 its the fact that if a celeb. owned it or personalize something you own that makes it one of a kind (in 50 years whos going to remenber anyway?). I went a different route on my project,If someone owns a early bronco and is a celeb. and has made a impact on your youth or you think is cool hay why not. Back in 01 during my build up I notice that the hot thing in the early Mustang or Shelby people was to have there heroe sign there glove box lid,so I had Ted Nugent sign mine in 02 when he was in town for a concert, best $10 I ever spent. I figure that me owns one and is in to hunting, is out spoken on most things, and may become the NRA pres someday, and beside who needs a eddie bauer bronco when I own the Ted Nugent model. Hey maybe FORD should offer that as a model when they build there next one?
