Wild horses or Tom's ring & pinion sets ? Any good

What brand of gears do these dealers sell ?
I am looking to upgrade to 4.56's.

I'm not sure what they sell but I would have to think you would get a better deal from somebody who specializes in gears like Randy's Ring and Pinion or one of the many other sellers. I'd check some adds in Peterson's 4 wheel and off road. If nobody else who knows more about gears chimes in as to which brands of gears are better I would check on Pirate 4X4's forums.

I would be very careful! I just heard a story about a set of 'cheap' gears. They were installed along w/ a new ARB. The gears literally exploded taking the ARB with them. Since the guy installed them his self, the dealer said it was his fault (experts say otherwise). So, by trying to save $50 for a $1000 project, he is now out an entire axle.

I was thinking of Wildhorses and Tom's because they will be on my summer vacation route.
I also did a little digging and found that Randy's ring and pinion will also be on my holiday route (Everett WA) and will pick up the gears etc from him.

Toms usually has used (good Matched sets) gears call and ask what has available
