Wild Horses Stock 10 pack leaf springs

If you run the hard top or have anything in the back (passengers, gas cans, tire carrier), I would go with the 11 pack. I run the 11 pack from bc and they ride nice.

I now have a 9 leaf spring that is a little firmer. More for on road use. I made them because some people think the 11 leaf packs are too soft for on road use.

Do you have some for stock height applications, or just lifted leaf springs?

I've got the WH 10 leaf pack and it's great as long as the top isn't on. When I put the top on people ask me what I'm hauling because the rear sits a little too low. I've got the 11th leaf on my "to do" list.

Here's another idea if you aren't adding a lift or anything. Take your original leaves apart, clean them up, paint them, reassemble them with loose spring clamps and they should be good as new. If you want them better than new, you could even add the plastic pads between the leafs (leaves?) like the new springs have. Unless your stock springs are sagging, this will make them better than new with a little elbow grease.

That is a great idea, I never thought of doing that. I assume it just lets the leafs flex a little more. Thanks for the idea, fits into my budget a little more as well.

About 7 years ago, I ran Wild Horses 10 pack rear leaf springs. When they were brand new my Bronco sat a hair high in the back unloaded, then leveled out with a fairly light weekend trail load, like I felt it should (no hard top). I am not exaggerating, after eight weekend trail runs, those springs sagged out where my Bronco sat two inches lower in the back with the Bronco unloaded.

I called Wild Horses and they told me I had to bring my Bronco down to their shop for them to decide whether they were going to help me or not with the issue.

I didn't get the feeling after that phone call that they were really that interested in helping me, and the cost of losing a days worth of wages to drive down there without a guarantee of them fixing the problem was not worth it to me.

I cut my losses and took the springs out and put F-150 leafs in. I gave the sagged out 5 1/2's to my buddy that has a 3" suspension lift. The sagged out leafs are currently under my buddy's Bronco with the 3" lift and his rig sits perfect in the back.

* granted my springs were not stock height, but that is my experiece with WH 10 pack leaf springs*

Thanks. I would assume that the spring construction and materials are all the same no matter what the height, so i would assume that your problems would affect all their springs. I think I will end up going with the suggestion from Mark about reusing the stock ones and just put looser clamps on.

there was a thread about a month ago, maybe, about wh springs. apparently they used to be a lot softer than they are now. lately people have not been having the problems described by albino.
