This install is going pretty well. I also purchased the 4 bolt steering kit. Pretty sweet.
My question- Just plumbing it up. As for hooking up steering box and new steering pump- the hydro kit came with a bag of little fittings (an fittings). I can figure which fittings will work(fittings thread into pump/box, hoses attach to fittings- ), but do these fittings need t-tape or something to seal? Or just thread them into box/pump and they will seal??

The kit has two identical fitting that fit the pump (only need 1). No rubber o- ring or anything on these fittings- so thanks, yeller. I'll snug them in and roll with that.

Coming up with only 1 fitting that seems to fit the steering box well(need 2). This has what looks like a flat washer and rubber o-ring under the an fitting/above the threads. I guess I need to go get another like it??

None of the other fittings seem to thread in as well. only one other threaded in, and seemed sloppy.

There are two in there that fit the steering box. I just did mine.
