Reading old forums; so far I'm led to believe a Cherokee/XJ (84-01) rear set is too wide to fit between the Bronco's 40" wheel wells. Has anyone successfully put in a Cherokee rear seat?
Has anyone tried a Cherokee rear seat? There are plenty in junk yards around here and look like would be nice to use. The width is close and mounts would need to be fabbed but if someone out there has tried it and knows it won't work please advise.
Cherokee rear seat has a separate seat bottom (flips up and forward) and top (flips down and forward that use mounts built into the body.
I would never say anyone "can't" do anything, but it's probably not the best first choice for a Bronco.
