Will D44 4.11 gears from a 78 F250 fit stock EB D44?

I'm trying to change my D44 gears from stock to 4.11s on a budget. A friend is selling a complete stock 4.11 D44 ring and pinion with stock carrier from a 1978 F250 for a good price. I'm mainly want the 4.11 gears from it and the OEM carrier would be nice to have an extra too. Will these gears work in my stock 1972 EB D44?

what ratio are your stock gears?

The f250 stuff should fit. << Edit not high pinion stuff

Correct.

High pinion gears will not work in any low pinion housing.

Low pinion gears will not work in any high pinion housing.
