What do the bolts look like/dimensions that hold the windshield frame to the cowl. I assume they must be very flat so the hinge will close. Any help would be appreciated.

They look very much like welds. In fact, they look exactly like spot welds. A LOT of them and they are very randomly spaced! Good luck.

The earlier Bronco windshield frames are bolted in. I have a 67. I will try tonight to take some pictures. I have everything where I can access the bolts. Unless someone who has been there done that chimes in first.

Well Todd, don't know if you were trying to be funny, or are just not educated on all things EB. I have a bolt in w/s frame on a 68 tub.

My '68 was spot welded but has holes with 1/4" nuts welded to the under side of the cowl. So they were set up to to be bolted on but the assembly line welded them. I'm going to weld a stainless hinge to my windshield frame and bolt it to the cowl. I think this could be done to any early Bronco. The heads of the bolts need to be short enough to allow the windshield to be bolted upright with the dash knobs.

The nuts welded to the bottom of the cowl on my '68 are 1/4"X20. I don't know where to find new ones.
