wiper motor cover under bikini top

i'm debating whether to buy a wiper motor cover for a 76 bronco - for over the dash. i've got a black bikini top on now. does anyone know whether the motor cover can fit under this top? i'm told that it doesn't fit under the soft top - or at least doesn't fit very well. how about with the bikini top? thanks.

Won't fit unless you have a BestTop bikini top . Kayline/STC drops the wiper motor for a lower top profile .

I use the wiper cover and sun visors with the bikini top. I remember cutting a small amount off the plastic cover on each side for it to fit with the top. (I think this was in the instructions from the top manufacturer?:? )
the other custom mod is some duct tape from the cover to the wiper motor to keep it from rattling.
Works great with no problems.
