I was traveling southbound on I95 this afternoon in stop and go traffic just north of Fredericksburg, VA and had to lock 'em up! Traffic had just accellerated to about 60 when I see the pickup in front of me swerve into the median as the traffic in front of him comes to a dead stop. I braked hard and they probably locked up at around 40 mph. I eased off and pumped them a bit. My rear end started to come around but when I let up a bit it straightened out some and I came to rest just barely into the lane on my right. Fortunately I didn't hit the pickup in front of me or the car in front of him and the lane next to me was clear. But it scared the crap out of my wife!
Thing is I had a 5.8 Windsor strapped in the back (takeing it back to where I got it because it wouldn't work for my son's 96 FSB) so I was real tail-heavy. I was actually pleased how well behaved it was in a panic stop (chevy disks, no booster, 35" muds). Anyways, be careful out there!
