• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Find a Cagle Fuel Regulator is as rare as finding Hen's Teeth these days (I know I sold tens of dozens (cases) back in the day being a Distributor). I doing my frame-off built and was wondering if the one I took off would be any good to put back on or do I dare to disassemble it and try to replace the diaphram & take my chances.

After going through many shelves and boxes of parts (for my rebuilt) I did come across 1 brand new Cagle Fuel Regulator (maybe the last one)

I received a brand new one today, including the original instructions and original owners warranty/registration return card. Hope the pic shows up I have it on photobucket and thought it would show up. I have paid for another and hope it materializes and it wasn't a scam. But I would welcome one more, what are you asking for it and was it new, the second one was used and I would like to take that apart to see if it can be repaired, but if yours is new I will surely use it on the next build. I'm in Clovis, CA 93612 for shipping purposes. Thanks...Mo if you need to talk directly my # is 559-283-2008 I am set up for Paypal also...

That must be one of the very first one's out there. When I was buying them from Ed Nelsen backing in '91, the lettering went across the top and back & forth. And the addess was a PO Box in Rolling Hills, Ca. Back then I would drive up there and pick them up from him.

You can also tell how old that one is by the 213 area code of Long Beach and that aea code was changed to 310.

The one I took off my truck was Chrome similiar to that one, The New one I found on the self that is going on my project is Black Chrome.

What is the part number of the one you have or are getting? You do know that the ones for 1976 Q-Jets & Rochesters are a different part number.

Cagles

Well this one must be early as it has no numbers on it at all. Haven't received the others yet, I will post when they arrive. Post a picture of yours if you can so we can compare. I really don't have much info on these things, than what I had and little I have found. It would be great to have more stuff posted. With the onset of EFI swaps I think these started to faded. I like to keep it simple so theses are a great find. List what knowledge you have on these, #'s, I'm interested on the Q-jet Cagle model..Mo

After Ed died the family did not want to keep the business going.

P/N # 1115 (Chrome Finish) General purpose fits most engines Ford, dodge, Chrysler, AMC early GM Holley, Carter, other standard carbs

P/N# 1125 (Chrome Finish) GM engines after 1976 with carb check valve Quadrajet. Rochester carbs, HP pumps

You will find the part # on the right side (at 3 o'clock) and the E.O. # on the left side (9 o'clock).

Here is a picture of the (New) Black Finish (#1215) I will be using on my built, I have not come across the Chrome Finish (#1115), that I was running in all the take off parts yet.

cagle has no #'s

No numbers at all. especially on the top name plate. It also said patent pending. Screws are Phillips not allen. Also yours looks to have a return port or something to that affect as well as the guage port..Mo

One of my info sheets say " Patent #4745904

CARD Exec Order #D-75-11

I think the lower one can get a pressure gauge, while the other looks like a vent or breather port

I found a cagle that came off my bronco, and have no idea what they are worth, but am getting a lot of offers asking how much. I was out of town for a long weekend, and want to answer people in the order in which they emailed me. I dont want to gouge anyone, just a cheap fait price. Thanks
