• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

I've got the BC lower steering shaft kit, but I need a different U joint to connect to the Ford column. The column end joint I have now is the double d type U joint. I've currently got a stock 69 column but will be swapping to a Ford factory F Series(late 70's) tilt column.

Something like this is what I'm after.... http://bcbroncos.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=37_83&products_id=344

I think this is the one I currently have...

Being an old parts man I couldn't believe I could not find a cheaper source for those u-joints ....I know their out there but I'm no longer in that business so my sources have dried up ..........But I will say this I took my digrinder and made one of the shafts a D shaft so the joint I had worked ..........

Are you saying you made the shaft coming out of the Ford factory steering column into a "D"? Obviously you must have started with a steering column shaft that was larger diameter than the "d" u-joint. I'm not sure I'm in that same boat, I'll have to look at the "d" size vs. the steering column shaft size.

Well it's been 5 year ..But as I remember shafts were the same size I just put the flat spot on it so I COULD set the set screw ....
